Procurement and supplier intelligence — food & beverage supply chain
A supply-chain management business needed to improve procurement across multiple suppliers, reduce fragmented working practices and create a structure capable of supporting further growth.
2022–2024 · UK & Spain
The situation
Procurement relied heavily on spreadsheets, disconnected tools and manual communication.
This made purchasing cycles slower, limited visibility into supplier performance and inventory, and made it increasingly difficult to scale operations without adding further complexity.
The work
The assignment examined procurement workflows, supplier information, inventory visibility and the relationship between existing systems.
A more unified procurement environment was introduced, combining workflow automation, demand forecasting, supplier-performance analysis, inventory monitoring and integration with existing ERP data.
The objective was not simply to automate purchasing, but to improve the quality and availability of information used to make procurement decisions.
The outcome
Procurement became faster and easier to oversee, supplier information became more structured, and management gained better visibility across purchasing and inventory.
The new structure also made further growth possible without reproducing the same fragmented processes at a larger scale.
